Visual Merchandiser



The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that retail visual merchandising brings attention to the product assortment, provides an excellent in-store customer experience, and maximizes sales.



  • Designs and implements a creative visual merchandising strategy for retail stores
  • Ensures visual merchandising aligns with the Company’s culture, products, image, and target market
  • Creates visual displays that lead the customer through the product journey
  • Sources displays, signs and floor plans in collaboration with Marketing
  • Identifies key messages and sets clear standards for the end result
  • Supports Retail to align product assortment and visual merchandising
  • Responsible for streamlining product deployment planning and communication for all retail locations to include new, existing, and discontinued products 
  • Ensures merchandising costs are within established budgets
  • Oversees the production of, and briefs store teams, on product and merchandise displays
  • Creates and modifies displays to promote new products including festive or seasonal themes
  • Liaise with suppliers and source elements
  • Serves as primary liaison between the company and wholesale clients in branding and merchandising
  • Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends
  • Other duties as assigned



  • 3 years of related visual merchandising experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Must possess or obtain a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to assess data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Sheets, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Proficiency using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design software programs



  • Cannabis industry experience
  • Experience reporting with Tableau



  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes




  • Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000; actual pay determined based on qualifications
  • Merit Bonus Eligible
  • Paid Time Off (PTO); 2.5 weeks per year
