Propagation Associate

The Opportunity

The Propagation Associate is responsible for the efficient and compliant production of all Native Roots clones. Successful candidates will have previous Cultivation/Propagation experience.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mix nutrients, water plants, and spray pesticides as needed.
  • Monitor and track environmental factors, including temperature, humidity, and water levels.
  • Cut clones, transport to trays, and rotate clones.
  • Check plants for pests, mildew, and mold.
  • Assist in disposal of green waste for facility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to industry standards and waste disposal procedures set forth by regulatory agencies.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees.
  • Contribute to a fun, team-oriented, and challenging work environment in an innovative and pioneering atmosphere.
  • Contribute and improve upon already-existing operations and processes to improve work-flow, efficiency, and provide constructive feedback and recommendations.
  • Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Regular attendance is expected and is considered an essential function necessary for the efficient operation of the business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Must already possess or be able to qualify to receive a Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) support badge and be 21 years of age or older.
  • Colorado residency, no felony convictions, and must successfully pass an extensive background check.
  • Preferred knowledge of Horticulture and experience growing Cannabis.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs, requirements, and regulations within the Cannabis industries.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to follow directions and ask questions as needed.
  • Willingness to adapt to ever-changing and fast-paced environment.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform repetitive tasks required for the proper management of the center.
  • Ability to perform the following physical tasks: sitting, standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
  • Ability to walk 5 miles a day.

 

  • Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.00
