Inventory Specialist

 

JOB PURPOSE:

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for distributing all inventory of raw materials, containers, and products for all operations locations in Colorado. Ensures the efficient receiving and distribution of materials to minimize issues and delays.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Distributes supplies to various operations departments
  • Verifies and fulfills inventory as needed in assigned locations
  • Utilizes software programs to track and monitor inventory movement
  • Unloads deliveries into the grow facility
  • Assists with receiving deliveries from suppliers and conducts QC inspections and counts
  • Inspects all secondary labels in the building for accuracy and compliance; replaces labels as needed
  • Completes the breakdown, sorting, and storing of dimensional packaging
  • Completes the veg requests weekly for all bays
  • Assists with inventory audits
  • Monitors nutrient rooms and works with Cultivation to refill grow nutrients
  • Monitors cleaning agents and other chemicals; refills as needed
  • Cleans, organizes, and maintains work area
  • Other duties assigned

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold or obtain a valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of inventory, warehouse, or related experience
  • Cannabis experience
  • Knowledge of safe handling and use of chemicals

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or items
  • Ability to use up to a 30-foot ladder
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs

 

COMPENSATION DETAILS:

  • Pay Range: $17.00-$19.00 per hour;
  • Accrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2 weeks per year
